Katherine Weise

Katherine Weise is a Master’s student joining the Qu[E|M] Lab in the Fall of 2023. While attaining her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Louisiana State University, Katherine became particularly interested in understanding the intricate workings of the natural world. Building upon this foundation, Katherine is currently pursuing a Masters in Environmental Engineering, seamlessly merging her biological knowledge with innovative engineering solutions. Katherine is studying antimicrobial resistance in waters that receive effluent from on-site sewer systems.
